Sophia Watson
Sophia joined Deacon in 2026, having spent 10 years practising as a lawyer specialising in real estate finance. She is a private practice partner recruiter focusing on both US and international firms and represents partners moving alone or as a team. Sophia’s industry knowledge and legal background mean she is well suited to advise candidates and clients on strategic moves/hires.
Sophia graduated from Leeds University in 2013 with a 2:1 degree in History of Art. She went on to complete the GDL at BPP Law School in 2014 and the LPC at University of Law in 2018, achieving a Commendation in both instances. Sophia is a member of the City of London Solicitors’ Company and sits on the editorial board of City Solicitor Magazine.

Interests: Sophia loves spending time with her family and friends. She likes to keep active and in particular enjoys skiing and running, which she balances out with an interest in wine and good food!
